Greenville is situated SE of Monrovia between Buchanan and Cape Palmas. General overview: The port consists of a breakwater 400m in length, the E side of which provides 2 berths, depth 6m. Depths in the entrance channel range from 10.1m to 23.8m, and good anchorage can be obtained in the bay in depths between 13.0m and 15.0m. The principal export is forest products. Dredging has started (April 2012) to increase depth to 9m alongside. Traffic figures: Approx 109,000m³ of forestry products are handled annually. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: Tanker Berth: LOA 62m, draught 4.8m. Largest vessel handled: "Angele N", log carrier, 26,548DWT, draught 7.0m.
