This ship is designed for carrying wood chips for paper. Their size is usually between 40,000 and 60,000 DWT. These vessels are measured in terms of cargo hold capacity, not deadweight. These vessels are equipped with cranes, hoppers, and belt conveyors for enabling efficient unloading of wood chips.
