We would like to present you with the results of our work. If you subscribe to our SeaRates news feed, we will notify you when a new release is ready.

Go ahead and check out the new features.

Freight Index

We are glad to announce a NEW SeaRates tool - Freight Index. Get freight rate shifts and a range of market insights for all types of transportation worldwide.

We have improved opportunities for Premium users to obtain data for sea, air, and land shipping with the option to select a specific carrier.

Moreover, we have added a more flexible rate period query as well as the ability to work with the results on the 'Compare' tab for separate periods. Download the results in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats.

We have added the ability to select the type of currency for displaying freight index data.

Share the latest data from your search on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

Apply for the Request an IT Quote form to integrate the Freight Index tool.

Carbon Emission Calculator

We are pleased to announce the release of the Carbon Emissions Calculator tool. Simply enter your shipment details to fully estimate the carbon footprint of your shipments by sea, land, and air.

Also, we have improved the display of shipping lines with the lowest CO2 indicators for quicker searching.

Finally, we have added the ‘Copy link’ feature to allow you to share calculation results with clients and partners, as well as changed the logic of filling out the CO2 amount scale.

AI Assistant Integration with the Sea FCL

We are pleased to announce the complete integration of AI Assistant with the Sea FCL API. Start to easily request FCL freight rates for desired shipping routes directly via the chat in your Virtual Office.

Tracking System

We are pleased to announce that we have added support for Sea Legend Shipping and Hoegh Autoliners. From now on, the total number of lines we support is 170.

For the web version, we have made a range of improvements, including the following:

  • improved the display of tariffs and notification of deleting shipping cards from the list
  • added data displaying the limit on the number of shipment numbers in a file uploaded
  • increased the usability of tags with clear error messages and adjusted the validation rules
  • replaced ETA TBA with predictive ETA to provide more accurate results based on historical shipping line data information

For API, we have changed the logic for determining the date in route-pol-date fields, prioritized the vessel's departure date, and updated the logic of AIS data.

Air Cargo Tracking

For the web-integrated version, we have added the ‘hideCardSearch’ parameter to hide the search field in the opened shipping card.

For API, we have improved the routing logic for air shipments and added a complete description of all shipment statuses to the documentation on our Developer Portal.

Ship Schedules

For API V. 2.0, we have added support for Ro-Ro transportation type in requests. Moreover, we have added a new field, including details such as the total number, of used and remaining API calls, API calls made by different types of schedules, and the validity of the API key.

We are pleased to announce that we have added support for the Camellia Line to the ‘by Vessel’ tab.

Finally, we have enhanced how we work with providers, including Dsv Ocean, Eimskip, and Gold Star Line in the ‘by Points’ tab, as well as MSC, CMA CGM, OOCL, and Yang Ming in the ‘by Vessel’ tab.

Load Calculator

We have made various updates, including automatic container selection and the logic of selecting the next container for cargoes that exceed the maximum weight.

Finally, we've added tooltips to the "Add truck" and "Add container" buttons.

Distance & Time

For the API, we have improved the logic of request processing to get your response about 5 times faster.

Also, we have added a ‘routing_mode’ (short, safe) parameter to allow you to route bypassing restricted areas on the map.

Finally, we have updated documentation for Version 3.0 and Version 2.0 in our Developer Portal.
