SeaRates Mobile App
We are pleased to present the NEW SeaRates Mobile application V1.1 with easy access to the Tracking System tool for iOS and Android.
We have added access to multi-tracking for unauthorized users to easily track cargo by container number, BL, or BK via phone. Currently, the limits are 5 successful searches per day. Also, you can view the history of the last 3 searches in the app for the Tracking System and Ship Schedules tools.
For Container Tracking, we have made several updates, including the shipping line name display in the shipping card and the ability to navigate from the vessel name in the 'Details' column to view the particular vessel's schedules in the Ship Schedules tool.
Finally, we have improved the sorting of shipping lines in alphabetical order, the design and content of the onboarding stages, and the menus.
Distance & Time
We are pleased to introduce you to the Distance & Time API Version 3.0. Receive benefits from requests by UN/LOCODE in the new version.
Also, we have implemented calculations of the route distance and transit time for multimodal transportation and access to alternative routes.
Moreover, we improved the logic for determining the optimal route, so you do not have to specify the type of transport. If required, you can also specify the necessary types of transport to build a route.
We have added comprehensive shipping line data, backed by auto-updating of the database, advanced statistics on sea routes, and expanded data for each location.
For web access to the tool on SeaRates.com, we have added the option to select the 'Rail' mode of transport, specifying the type of transportation, and have updated the ‘Average speed’ default parameters.
Also, we have improved the transit time calculation depending on the average speed you choose, enhanced the accuracy of routes, and added updated statistics for sea freight.
For API version 2.0, we have implemented the ability to receive updated data with corrected routes and updated statistics on sea routes.
Finally, we have added Version 3.0 documentation to our Developer Portal.
Global Delivery
We are pleased to announce the creation of the Global Delivery API for simply requesting freight rates and information on cargo shipping from well-known courier companies.
Currently, we support about 10 courier services and expect to reach about 400 by the end of April. Stay updated with our improvements.

Structural Quote
We are pleased to introduce an opportunity for Vendor and DFA Premium account types to send quotes for prospective shipping leads.Create your structural quote via the All Shipping Leads page or in the Logistics Map tool by clicking the 'Quote' button.
The Structural Quote application is integrated into Virtual Office. Choose how to provide your structural quotes: for shipping components on the "Breakdown" tab or a single shipping rate on the "Lumpsum" tab.
Furthermore, under the 'Request' tab in your Virtual Office, you will find the 'Sent offers' tab to check the quotes you have sent out.
Air Cargo Tracking
We are pleased to announce that we have added support for 4 new airlines, including Korean Air, MasAir, Wideroe, and Virgin Atlantic.
For API, we have improved the logic of adding data to events based on general transportation information.
Also, find enhanced lists of statuses for the routes' parameters in the documentation on the Developer Portal. This way, you can easily navigate the statuses of some parameters with others’ requests.
Tracking System
We have enhanced how we work with providers, including Hapag-Lloyd, Ocean Network Express (ONE), Evergreen, CK Line, Yang Ming, Eimskip, Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), Shipco Transport, ECU Worldwide, Romocean, Cosiarma S.p.A., SETH Shipping, Regional Container Lines (RCL), Gold Star Line, Arkas, Laurel Navigation, NewStar, CMA CGM, Atlantic Container Line (ACL), Grimaldi Deep Sea S.P.A., Korea Marine Transport (KMTC), Westwood Shipping Lines, and Maersk.
Ship Schedules
We are pleased to announce that we have added support for Seaboard Marine and Pan Continental Shipping on the ‘by Points’ tab.
We have enhanced how we work with providers, including Sunmarine Shipping Services, OOCL, ANL, Seaboard, Pan Continental, Westwood, and CMA CGM.
Logistics Explorer
We have improved the logic of sorting tariffs on the 'Featured' tab. Thus, you will be able to view the rates in relation to the cost and transit time, from the lower result to the higher one.
Load Calculator
For API, we have added the "Allowed image size exceeded" error notification type in the response and parameter validation to regulate the input of allowed sizes.
Logistics Map
We have added a 'View Rates' button on the lead card to view tariffs directly in Logistics Explorer for users with a Shipper account type.
Also, we have added the 'Warehouse' parameter to the Filter for convenient work with leads on freight storage.
Virtual Office
We have added Air Tracking to the 'Tools' tab - ‘General’ tab for an easy way to find statistics on web access, web integration, and API.
Also, we have added a display of request limits for the web-integrated version of the Tracking System.
We have added an option to set English, Ukrainian, and Spanish as the default languages in the Search Filter web-integrated version. Try it on the ‘Widget customization’ page in the ‘Language’ section.
For the Logistics Explorer web and API integration subscription, we have added a commission option you can manage in the LE Settings 'Commissions' button.
On the 'Rates and tariffs' tab, we have added notifications about the result of uploading an Excel file with freight rates. You will receive a notification in your Inbox about the status of the upload or an error and its exact cause in the file.
Other updates
- On the All Shipping Leads page and the Logistics Map tool for DFA Premium and Vendor users, we have added structured quote creation by the ‘Quote’ button on the lead’s card.
- Also, we have added the 'Warehouse' parameter to the Filter for convenient work with leads on freight storage.
- For the All Shipping Leads page, we have implemented the display of the ‘Humidity’ parameter for ‘Perishable cargo’ in leads for transportation and storage.
- For the Request a Quote form, we have added the delivery type indicator, based on the selected type of departure and arrival points of the shipment.
- Finally, we have optimized the design and content of the Integrations menu section and the registration/authorization page.
