Freight Index
We are pleased to present the Freight Index API version. Check the API documentation on the Developer Portal.
We made several improvements, including the following:
- displaying the order of the ‘Shipping type’ categories
- indexes displayed in the 'Trending indexes' section
- added the ability to select all types of transport in the 'Unit type' field
- upgraded the design
For the Premium Version, we have added an explanation of the search option in the auto-complete.
Carbon Emissions Calculator
We are glad to announce the Carbon Emissions Calculator web-integrated version.
Empower your company’s website with advanced carbon emissions and offset calculations to ensure improved customer service. Get the code for web integration in our Developer Portal.
We have enhanced our app by adding a query history. View your 5 last queries instantly!
For the CO2 Calculator API, we have improved the speed and optimized the 'by Lines' calculation.
Check the added Carbon Emissions Calculator to the ‘Tools’ tab in the top menu.
Tracking System
We are glad to announce added support for the Geodis Ocean line. Now, the total number of lines we support is over 171.
We inform you that we have added limits for the web version of the tool. From now on, unauthorized users can track 2 unique shipment numbers daily. Authorized users have free access with 3 unique tracking requests, up to 20 per month. Simply pay for your tracking requests directly on our website.
For API, we have improved the logic of data determination in the ‘route - prepol’ field.
Also, we have added the ‘cache_expires’ parameter. Check out our improved documentation on the Developer Portal.
Finally, we have enhanced how we work with providers, including Evergreen, Swire Shipping, Shipco Transport, Atlantic Container Line (ACL), Grimaldi Deep Sea S.P.A., Dong Young Shipping, Yang Ming, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), ZIM, CMA CGM, Heung-A Shipping, and Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, and COSCO.
Air Cargo Tracking
We are glad to announce added support for 21 airlines, including Southwest Airlines, UPS Air Cargo, Sichuan Airlines, Air India, Shenzhen Airlines, Air India, Air Canada, Malaysia Airlines, China Cargo Airlines, Japan Airlines, Mercury Americas, Qantas, GOL Linhas Aereas, Kenya Airways, El Al Israel Airlines, Gulf Air, Hong Kong Air Cargo, ASL Airlines Belgium, Air Belgium, Plus Ultra, and Nile Air. The total number of airlines we support is 394.
For the web version, we have enhanced the tool by adding the notification "The airline is not supported at the moment”, as well as an error message when entering an incorrect Air Waybill number.
Also, for users subscribed to our web-integrated version, we provide an Air Cargo Tracking filter you can integrate into your website.
Finally, we have improved how we work with providers, including American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, UPS Air Cargo, Sichuan Airlines, Air India, Corsair International, Condor, Air Transat, China Cargo Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, and SpiceJet.
Ship Schedules
We have added support for the Sealand shipping line to the ‘by Points’ and ‘by Vessel’ tabs.
We are glad to announce a new feature to open a separate schedule page that contains all necessary functionality and important data on vessel schedules. Also, here, you can copy and share your results per demand.
For API, we have added the ability to assign a unique schedule ID to share results and open a separate schedule page.

Finally, we have improved how we work with providers, including Heung-A Shipping, MARIANA EXPRESS LINES, Sinokor, and KMTC in the ‘by Points’ tab.
Distance & Time
Our team is glad to introduce a range of improvements to the API Version 3.0, including comprehensive and rapid support of request parameters: country and city names, addresses in different formats, companies’ names, and famous places.
This way, you extend your calculations with more parameters besides coordinates, UN/LOCODES, and country codes.
Moreover, we have added the ability to specify a ‘country code’ instead of a ‘location code’.

SeaRates Mobile App
Glad to present a new version of Mobile Application V1.2. We have added authorization to the app for iOS and Android.
Moreover, we have performed a range of improvements for the authorized users of the Tracking System, including access to saved shipments and the ability to save new shipments.
Finally, synchronization of saved shipments for the Mobile App and the web version is now available for you.
Geocoding
We are glad to announce the launch of the Geocoding API.
Easily check all the details on the City name, Country, and Admin region. Stay tuned for zip code and UN/LOCODE requests.
We have implemented an autocomplete service for location searches in SeaRates tools.
Global Delivery
We are glad to announce that we have added support for Nova Post to streamline your international courier rate search.
Load Calculator
We inform you that we have added limits for the web version of the tool. From now on, unauthorized users can make 1 request daily. Authorized users have free access with 3 requests daily, up to 20 per month.
Other updates
For World Sea Ports, we have improved the app database according to reliable geocoding information and global port resources. Currently, we provide access information for new 1052 ports and updated 1582 ones.
We have added content for the Ship Schedules, Air Tracking, Logistics Explorer, and Logistics Map tools pages.
Finally, you can find updated content and design for the Logistics Explorer, Load Calculator, and Virtual Office Web Integration pages, About Us, ‘Import From’ and ‘Export To' for the Freight Routes app, Load Calculator API, Route Planner API, and SeaRates Enterprise pages in the Integrations menu.
