What’s new for week 45:
- Tracking System improvements. For the web version, we’ve added a "Book Now" button in shipment tracking, allowing users to access the new version of Logistics Explorer to view freight rates for the tracked route and plan future bookings with SeaRates.
- We’ve also enhanced our collaboration with providers, including Turkon, Crowley Maritime, Arkas, JAS Worldwide (Ocean), Hapag-Lloyd, and NVO Consolidation Lines.
- Air Tracking enhancements. We’ve added support for AirMax (Peru), bringing the total number of supported airlines to 436.
- Additionally, we’ve improved our work with providers like Amerijet International, Aegean Airlines, Aeromexico, Air Belgium, Malaysia Airlines, Korean Air, Southwest Airlines, UPS Air Cargo, Swiss International Air Lines, Asiana Airlines, and DHL Aviation.
- Rail Tracking updates. We’ve developed and published documentation for the Rail Tracking API on the Developer Portal.
- We also added a separate API request for retrieving the list of supported railway carriers and introduced a new field, container_size_type, in the API response to display the size and type of the container (e.g., "20' Dry Standard") when the transported equipment is a container.
- The logic for determining arrival times has been improved as well.
- Parcel Tracking improvements. We added support for Leman, increasing the total number of supported providers to 2,417.
- Ship Schedules enhancements. We are glad to announce that we have added support for Namsung and SITC for ‘by Vessel’, Romocean for ‘by Points’ and Namsung ‘by Port’.
- Additional information for the 'by Port' search now includes details about vessels currently in the port or that have been there within the last 48 hours, as well as vessels that have arrived or departed within the last 48 hours.
- We’ve also improved our work with leasing companies and providers, including COSCO and Arkas for ‘by Port’.
Other updates:
- We added Logistics Map Web access, Web integration, and API to the Request an IT Quote form, making it easier to request a quote for these services.
