Gartner Supply Chain Summit 2024 hosted a three-day event from June 10-12 in Barcelona, Spain, attended by global logistics experts and freight forwarders across the globe. The Gartner conference provided a crucial platform for participants to explore expert insights and discover new trading opportunities in an evolving landscape.
The SeaRates and Digital Freight Alliance team had the opportunity to attend the main events of the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium as well as behind-the-scenes events, where we received interesting insights and forecasts firsthand.
Conference insights
The Gartner symposium was held in the spacious and majestic International Barcelona Convention Center, which was able to accommodate more than 1,600 visitors over the course of three days. Each day, our team was impressed by the informative and productive program. We loved the atmosphere and learned a lot about supply chain trends in 2024 from those who directly determine the demand, expenditures, and essentials of global supply chains.
More than 1,600 participants engaged in lively discussions and debates on technological trends in forwarding, logistics, and overall supply chain processes, focusing on supply chain digitalization. We gained clearer strategies and insights into the digitalization of supply chain processes and identified opportunities for each of us.
The main audience of the Gartner supply chain summit was global BCOs and product manufacturers who were looking for digital solutions for warehouses and process optimization in companies following modern digital logistics methods and strategies for improving warehouses around the world. Additionally, the event provided ample opportunities for supply chain networking, enabling professionals to connect and collaborate on innovative solutions.
The Gartner Supply Chain Symposium 2024 has become the central meeting point for the region's supply chain industry, allowing professionals to connect with key voices, negotiate deals, and resolve contentious issues to make informed decisions.
