Geocoding API
We are glad to inform you of the SeaRates Autocomplete service release.
Apply for comprehensive data for cities, countries, and administrative regions, and the ability to search by UN/LOCODES, IATA codes, country codes, global regions, zip code, and the Sea Region parameter (Black Sea, Red Sea, etc.) in your requests.
We have implemented high precision of a result and speed of service, with request processing in a couple of seconds
Virtual Office
Our team is delighted to announce the release of the ‘Transport’ admin panel.
We have implemented complete management of transport assets in your Virtual Office:
- creation, editing, duplication, and deletion of transport unit records with details - type, model, dimensions, location, desired shipping direction, availability dates, various pricing options, the ability to add images and comments, and specifying the desired type of payment
- import/export of data in xls format
- the ability to share a link to transport
Moreover, we are happy to introduce you to the newly released ‘Counterparties’ admin panel.
Get access to the following options for advanced counterparty management:
- creation, editing, duplication, and deletion of counterparty records with details
- import/export of data in xls format
- the ability to share the Invite link to connect with counterparties beyond the SeaRates marketplace audience
Finally, we have added the ability to check out the statistics for Ship Schedules subscriptions in your Virtual Office under the ‘Access’ tab.
Air Cargo Tracking
We are glad to announce added support for 24 airlines, including Air Baltic, TUI, TACA, SKY Airline, Air Serbia, Air Malta, Croatia Airlines, TAROM, TAAG Angola Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways, FlyOne, Swiss International Air Lines, Air Premia, Air Arabia, Egyptair, Vietnam Airlines, Сzech Airlines, Caribbean Airlines, Suparna Airlines, Kuwait Airways, Coyne Airways, Jeju Air, Neos, and Polar Air Cargo.
We have implemented limits on AirRates.com under the following terms:
- 1 tracking request daily for unauthorized users
- Free access with 3 tracking requests daily, and up to 20 unique shipments per month for authorized users
Added display of the total weight of the cargo separately from the number of cargo units for the web version.
Finally, we have improved how we work with providers, including SpiceJet, Cathay Pacific Airways, AeroUnion, ANA Cargo, Starlux Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, China Airlines, EVA Air, Alaska Airlines, Avianca, Bangkok Airways, Jetblue Airways, MEA, TACA, Virgin Australia, British Airways, American Airlines, Korean Air, Air India, Swiss International Air Lines, Atlas Air, Etihad Cargo, and Air China Cargo.
Tracking System
We are glad to announce that we have added support for Hede Shipping. Now, the total number of lines we support is over 172.
Finally, we have improved how we work with providers, including Pan Continental Shipping, Maritime Marfret, Econship, Namsung Shipping, Yang Ming, Crowley Maritime, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, ECU Worldwide, Tailwind Shipping Lines, Shipco Transport, W.E.C. (West European Container) Lines, Maersk, Seatrade, Wan Hai, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), BAL Container Line, Hapag-Lloyd, Sinotrans Container Lines, Hoegh Autoliners, Stolt Tank Containers, and Independent Container Line.
Furthermore, we have enhanced the logic for receiving AIS data on a vessel.
Distance & Time
For API, we have upgraded the documentation with new opportunities to request by addresses in any format, names of companies, cities, countries, attractions, etc.

Ship Schedules
We have released the limits for web access and a web-integrated version of free access with 5 searches daily, up to 50 searches per month for authorized users.
Also, we have improved how we work with providers, including Sinokor, HeungA, Yang Ming, Maersk, ANL, and ECU Worldwide, in the ‘by Points’ tab., as well as ANL, APL, and CNC for ‘by Vessel’.
SeaRates Mobile App
We have released a QR code that automatically detects the operating systems and takes the user to the SeaRates app on Google Play or the App Store, respectively.
Also, we have optimized the request processing in the Ship Schedules tool for Android users.
Other updates
We have updated a Plans & Pricing page with the instant possibility to pay for desired IT solutions. This way, you can easily choose and pay for a subscription directly on the webpage for Ship Schedules, Load Calculator, Air Cargo Tracking, and Tracking System.
For Freights Index, we have implemented a range of improvements for optimization and more convenient usage of the tool, such as the possibility to reverse destinations for index searching.
Finally, we have upgraded content and design for the following: Air Cargo Tracking tool on AirRates.com, Distance & Time API, Tracking System API, Load Calculator API, SeaRates Mobile App, Virtual Office, SeaRates ERP, Load Calculator, Ship Schedules, and Find Freight Routes landing pages.
