CCL Container Tracking
CCL is a modern shipping company with service lines to the Americas, the Mediterranean and Africa. Currently, CCL is a corporation controlled by the GF Group, an Italian company that is a market leader in the production and worldwide distribution of fruit. The group owns 10 vessels plus 21 others on long-term charter.
All CCL vessels are of modern construction and reach a speed of between 19 and 22 knots in order to guarantee shorter and safer connections.
The Group controls the largest Reefer Terminal in the Mediterranean, as well as the container terminal in Vado Ligure. The latter, acting as the base port for Costa Container Lines, has three exclusive piers for over 700 mt, 12.5 meters of draught, 2 gantry cranes, one Gottwald, 2 stacking cranes, 80 vehicles and direct railway connections.
For many years now, CCL has successfully transported every type of cargo in containers, from coffee to cars, from fruit to meat, from machinery to plant engineering parts. This wealth of experience has allowed CCL to model its resources and strategies in accordance with the needs of both small and large industrial corporations.
From its headquarters in Genoa, CCL manages a fleet of about 80,000 teus dry and about 3,500 teus reefer. It has representative offices with its own personnel in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Caracas and Mexico City. The company is also involved in land logistic operations and maritime agencies with its own Costamar and Calmedia network.
